~*~ WARNING ~*~

This book will require at least one full box if Kleenex!!!

I can’t even begin to describe the love I have for it. It is not your typical book about firefighters but you will not be disappointed!!

Its about a firefighters wife, name Lennox. She adores her husband and has beautiful children that she loves with all her heart! She feels as though she has lost herself in the process and that something is missing in her life.

“I was depressed and and felt trapped because I never did anything for myself”

This book is beyond amazing and I like that Dani doesn’t shy away from the darker issues such as the depression that Lennox suffers with! It’s something that as you read parts of it, you can relate to as a wife or mother and be like “that’s me, I’ve been there”

This book has everything that a reader wants. You go through every single emotion with Lennox. You completely feel for her! It just shows how strong someone can be when they have people that depend on them!

It takes you through what I feel is such a beautiful story of love, pain and overcoming obstacles (physical and emotional). You see how she met her husband Dean, and how their love started. It takes you thorough years of marriage, love found, love lost, and love rekindled.

“I wanted to believe we could come back from this, but I just didn’t know if that was what I wanted anymore. I was conflicted and confused as I had been for so long”

It was so full of unexpected surprises and I was totally blown away with the twists and turns this book takes you on! I found myself yelling at my kindle multiple times and I’m not ashamed to say I also ugly cried like a baby on more than one occasion!! I love a book that can pull those emotions from the reader.

AFF is worth so much more than the 5 stars I can offer. It is definitely one of my top faves for 2014!!!

A Firefighter’s Flame is the most heartbreaking, soul wrenching, beautiful, loving, broken, healing, and all around AMAZING STORY!  I could go on and on forever!  Every emotion flows effortlessly out of this book straight into your heart, leaving you forever attached to the story.  It is relatable to so many people.  It is one of those stories that touches your soul!  Such a beautiful story!

Lennox is married to Dean and they have 2 beautiful children.  She is a firefighter’s wife and proud of it.  She adores her family.  But after years of battling depression and taking care of her family she has lost herself. Something is missing. . .

“I had to find redemption somewhere if I was going to ever live again.”

Throughout the book we learn about Lennox’s life.  Her struggles as a teenager, fun times with her best friend Kylie, and falling in love with Dean.  She has been dealing with depression for years and her parents tried medication and therapy, but sometimes life is just too much for her to handle.

“You know he never stopped loving you, Len.  That boy is obsessed with you.  He worships the ground you walk on.  You’re bat shit crazy and he loves you for it not in spite of it.” ~Kylie

We follow Lennox on her journey to discovering who she is.  So many emotions are being thrown at her at once and she can’t handle her own reality.  Falling in love, falling out of love, and finally finding out who is her forever is not an easy journey.  Lennox’s strength is tested over and over. And sometimes fate intervenes right as you are finally figuring it out, and decides for you.

“It was ironic how I finally had a choice and fate took it from me again.  We were fools to think that we had control of our lives.  We didn’t.”

There are so many things I want you to know, but you truly must read this and experience it for yourself.  I don’t want to spoil anything for you.  I was given the opportunity to beta read for Dani, and fell in love with the story from the beginning!  This isn’t your typical romance about a sexy firefighter, but it is SO much more!  You will definitely need the tissues!  (I can’t believe she made me cry!!)  Dani Hart’s writing style is very romantic and emotional!  There are so many special moments that were captured and brought to life throughout the story.  You just have to read it and experience the story for yourself!
