A high school reunion is about to
get down and dirty and a whole lot more complicated in this new erotic romance
from USA Today bestselling author Stacey Kennedy.

Veterinarian, Rae Evans expects to attend a dreadful ten-year high school
reunion. Instead, she’s confronted by a past she’s never gotten over. The love
of her life, Travis Walker, has returned to Catfish Creek, and the now-famous
rock star wants only three things: Her. Naked. And screaming his name.
Fresh off
his last world tour, Travis has returned to town to get a dose of reality. With
fame casting a superficial cloud over Travis’s life, he’s scrambling to stay
afloat. He needs an anchor, and Rae is that for him. But as he finds himself,
he’s determined to remind Rae of the heat that once burned between them.
Before they
know it, their one hot night is three, and soon, just like ten years ago,
Travis holds the strings to Rae’s heart. But Rae’s not that young girl who
watched her high school sweetheart race off to become famous. She’s a woman who
knows what she wants and realizes when a man needs her. She just has to decide
if she should put the past on repeat, or walk away from it forever.
4.5 star review
High school sweethearts, Rae and Travis had different plans in life. She wanted to be a Veterinarian and He wanted to play, write music to bigger audiences then in their small town Catfish Creek. So she pushed him to persue his dreams and he didn’t beg her to go with him. Both ended up heartbroken over their decision to let the other persue his or her dreams.

At the 10 year high school reunion, Rae is a Veterinarian and Travis is a Rock Star. Both their dreams have come true with hard work. But both are not happy in their personal life.  Travis wants Rae but he is also lost. He has fame but its all superficial; he needs Rae to be his anchor. Just being near her makes him so happy. But Rae isn’t so easy to go back to how they were 10 years ago, when he left it hurt her more than she would admit. She can’t have him swoop in and revive her heart with their heat and love for one another then swoop out to be a Rock Star and leave her behind again. It’s like history repeating it’s self or is it? Can these two learn from the past and move forward or will history repeat itself leaving them both heartbroken and alone?

I really liked this story. I just loved Travis’s character, who wouldn’t love a lost Rock Star just trying to find what is real in a superficial world? Rae drove me a little nuts because she is young and clueless.  She didn’t see what was right in front of her. Travis loved her so much he let her go to persue her dreams because he knew they were important to her. Travis love for Rae is selfless and that is so beautiful! This is a great book that I would recommend to anyone who loves a love story.

If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, its yours forever. If it doesn’t, then it was never meant to be. – Unknown
