Title: A Million Tiny Pieces
Author: Nicole Edwards
Genre: Adult, Erotic Ménage Romance
Release Date: January 20, 2015
Mia Cantrell is happy to be rid of her lying, cheating, ex-husband. With her divorce final, Mia is moving on, grasping the reins of life once more. She’s learning to deal with the shattered remains while putting one foot in front of the other, taking control of her own decisions, and ultimately living one day at a time. Too bad the universe has put a hiccup (or two) in her well thought out plan.
Phoenix Pierce is putting the pieces back together after the death of his father. Between his multi-million dollar company, the NHL team he now owns, and the endless supply of women willing to share a bed for one night of uninhibited sex, he finds himself going through the motions. Until he meets Mia. Although he’s on a mission to win her, that doesn’t solve his problem of the other person he wants… the man he has denied himself for years.
Tarik Marx doesn’t think anyone could ever fill the void in his life the way Phoenix unknowingly has. That is until he meets Mia. Thanks to a fractured childhood, Tarik has to face a bigger problem: he doesn’t know how it feels to be loved. His past adds additional complexity when Tarik finds himself trying to figure out how he can have them both.
Is it possible for a million tiny pieces to come together again? And if they do, will that make the bond even stronger than before?

Nicole Edwards releasing her erotic ménage romance stand alone, A Million Tiny Pieces.  The style of the story is the same you are used to and love from Nicole Edwards.  2 guys, 1 girl and sparks ignite.  Pasts can either make them or break them.  For Phoenix, Mia, and Tarik they can either let their insecurities, trust issues, and fear stop them from having their happily ever after or will they overcome the faults together?

In true Nicole fashion the sex scenes were off the charts explosive and world record breaking hot.  If it’s one thing she sure knows how to do it is most definitely to put more revenue into Victoria Secrets by her readers having to buy more panties after ruining them.  The story flowed nicely and I liked how the relationship between Phoenix and Mia didn’t feel rushed.  The relationship between Phoenix and Tarik was great because they knew each other for a long time and you could tell by the way the 2 were with each other.  Their banter back and forth and the constant need for control was entertaining to read and watching their romantic relationship blossom was a real treat to be a part of.  When it came to the separate relationship with Mia and Tarik, I felt like something was missing.  Was there undeniable lust flowing between them? Absolutely.  At the end, for me, they were heading in the right direction at building something deep and soulful.  My hang-up on them was more on Mia’s part than Tarik’s.  I felt like Tarik gave to Mia and Phoenix equally just differently. When it came to Mia I just felt like she more emotional available to Phoenix.  There were moments where the love toward Tarik would come out in Mia but overall I just wanted something more.

Now when it comes to steam Nicole is on her game.  She can take any situation in any novel and turn the temperature up completely too where you feel like you are going to combust.  If you enjoy reading steamy sex scenes that leave you panting and out of breathe than the ones in A Million Tiny Pieces will not disappoint.  Not only did we see them intimate as couples but we got quit an eye full when all 3 of them came together.  The one thing I can say is that I was able to see the different connections separately.  When Tarik and Mia were together alone intimately I saw more of the gentle nurture that Mia needed.  When Mia and Phoenix were together separately I got to the see the dominance that Mia also craved.  And boy oh boy hold on to your panties because when Phoenix and Tarik were together, holy shit on a stick that was hot right there.  I think the best scenes obviously were with the 3 of them together because you got to see all the different emotions, the dominance, the nurturing, sweet and loving, hard and fast, all of it.

The balance of characters was great – all emotions were laid out there on the table.  The banter and tug of war for control that Tarik and Phoenix played left me giggling with humor.  The trust and reassurance that Mia gave those men had my heart swooning.  I watched Mia grow from an insecure scared woman who had her heart broken into a million pieces turn into this beautiful, confident, adventurous women and it’s all in thanks of the love that Phoenix and Tarik gave her.

There is a bit of a suspenseful storyline in this book which was refreshing.  When Mia’s past gets woven into her present it’s a game of cat and mouse trying to figure out what the heck is going on and why.  Just when you think that you figured out why she throws another curveball at you and you are stumped.  Everything comes to play towards the end and you figure out why, who and what and you are left satisfied.  I enjoyed the ending of this story however, I was hoping after finishing it that the ending had just an extra step in it.   You do get the HEA we all love and all is well in the world but I was hoping that the big gathering would have had an extra step in it.

Great job Nicole on another erotic ménage romance.  Can’t wait to see what you have for us next.
