Synopsis

*new adult romance*
**explicit scenes and language**

I don’t care what my cousin says; I am not the queen of impossible relationships. I mean, just because my last boyfriend tried to kill me and left a bit of a scar on my neck, then forced me to move across the country and legally change my name to Reese Randall to escape him, does not mean—

Oh, who am I kidding? For a freshman in college, I have to have the worst dating track record ever.

It’s no wonder love is the last thing on my mind when Mason Lowe enters my life. But the chemistry between us is like bam! Our connection defies logic. And he’s just so freaking hot. Being around him makes me feel more alive than I’ve ever felt before. I even like bickering with him. He could be my soul mate…except for one teeny tiny glitch.

He’s a gigolo.

Boy, do I know how to pick them.

Angela’s 4 Star Review

Price of a Kiss starts off with the prologue where we meet the hero, Mason Lowe at the age of eighteen years old he’s placed in awkward situation by his mother’s landlady Mrs. Garrison. Mason’s sister Sarah has cerebral palsy, there mother is single and she’s struggling to pay the bills and is months overdue in the rent. Mrs. Garrison is constantly threatening them with eviction…when she realizes he’s of age she proposition him if he agrees to sleep with her she would cut the rent in half.(She’s half his age). Feeling he has no other choice left but to agree with this and help save his family. Mason’s life forever changed on that dreadful day.

Two years later Reece Randall is beginning to start her life over in a new college and state. She planned on attending the local university in her hometown, she dreamed of becoming a virologist. Sadly her plans for the future drastically changed she blames her psycho stalker ex boyfriend Jeremy, because of him she changed her name, is hiding out halfway across the country, attending a no name small town community college and living above her aunt and uncle’s garage. Starting a new relationship never crossed her mind since her first boyfriend almost destroyed her that is until she see’s him “Hotness” as she refers to Mason.

From fifty yards, he’d taken my breath away. From ten feet, I’d been ready to have his babies. ~ Price of a Kiss

When Reece discovers from her cousin Eva that Mason is a gigolo she’s stunned by this revelation…he is completely off limits to her and is not boyfriend material because he spends his time with other woman and would never be faithful to her. She decides to put all of that aside and become his friend, because in all honesty that’s all he could possibly give her.

Reece takes on a part time babysitting job for a little girl only to discover she is suffering from cerebral palsy, who also just so happens to be Mason’s little sister. The more time she spends with them she understand why Mason does what he does and finds herself falling in love with the sweetest little girl.

Reece begins to see past him being a gigolo…she develops a friendship with him, comes to his defense on several occasions, because let’s face it people are cruel in this world and they spread vicious rumors around without really getting to know a person.

He had sold his soul to ensure every bill his mother forgot to pay was taken care of, even the fricking babysitter’s bill. ~ Price of a Kiss

What happens when your heart betrays you and you find yourself falling for the “gigolo” you possibly can’t expect him to stop all of this just for you can you? The bills, rent it would just pile up if he stopped.

Can love prevail for these two, can they find the happiness they both deserve?

What will happen when Mason discovers her true identity?

I’m not a person to them, I’m just a good time or something vile to be avoided at all cost. You came along and you….you hugged me. You are the first person who see me, Mason, not sex for sale, and that kind of compassion is not a sign of a selfish person, at all.

You’re the warm sun that shines when everything is dark, A smile and a hug in a roomful of disapproval, you’re everything. ~ Price of a Kiss

I really did enjoy Price of a Kiss it was such a sweet story the best part there was no cliffhanger, the epilogue was my favorite. I recommend adding this to your list of reads.
