Ena’s 5 Holy WOW Evan Ashford Thoughts

This would be the song I would choose for Evan and Mallory!

Okay so I have never heard of S.L. Scott before signing up for this blog tour – and HELLO where the crap have I been. I feel in love with this book from the time I started it until the time it ended.

Evan Ashford is your typical Casanova, he is young, sexy, and can charm the panties off of a nun. He is charming and such a smooth talker that will jump from one vacationer to the next without a second thought. Living in Hawaii he is living the good life. Working as a surf instructor he fills his time with flirting and taking to bed many of the girls that find their way onto his surf board and then shortly after into his bed. There is something about him that leaves my stomach with millions of…

Mallory is in Hawaii visiting her best friend Sunny and trying to relax on her summer vacation from college. She isn’t looking for anything serious, just a bit of fun. After just getting out of a long relationship the last things she wants is more strings. She is funny and smart and doesn’t take any bullshit. She is loyal and trustworthy and just down to earth girl who isn’t looking for drama. But she also wasn’t expecting to run into Evan her very first day on the island either. After running into Evan her life will never be the same she feels a strong connection to him and she can’t explain it – she isn’t sure she wants to, all she knows is that when they are around each other it’s like…

In walks Noah, loyal Hawaiian who has an eye for Mallory. He will stop at nothing to be her friend in hopes of more. While his heart goes pitter pat when he is around Mallory her heart is slowly starting to beat more rapidly but it’s not Noah that causes it.

Noah is everything should want in a man. He is attractive and kind. He is gentle and good hearted. Evan is everything she should stay away from if she wants to leave the island with her heart in one piece. Evan will consume her entirely and in the process probably shatter her heart with no guarantee of it every being able to be repaired.

I loved loved loved loved this book! Wait did I say loved enough? Well I did. Seriously, I couldn’t put it down. From the very beginning I got to know the characters on a personal basis and what happened to them became very important to me. I could feel their uncertainity, their connections to each other, their passion for one another, and their longing. S.L. Scott did an excellent job with giving us all the information we needed to fall in love with them!

In the beginning my feelings for Evan were very strong with disgust. The way he treated girls with no regards to their emotional state. Sometimes I wanted to smack him clear across his face and he left me feeling…

The relationship between Evan and Mallory was a roller coaster and we all know how much I love roller coasters! Sometimes they made my heart swell and but a giddy smile on my face and left my cheeks hurting from smiling so hard. But of course we all need angst right? Well yep when my smile was starting to hurt the crap out of my face because it wouldn’t go away S.L. Scott threw us a curve ball and left me feeling…

Oh and the passion and heat in this book with electric. I am talking panty dropping, melt into your bed sheets, did someone raise the temperature 100 degrees in this room HOT! I felt like I was right there in scene (well not actually but that would have been AMAZING). I couldn’t get enough of the connection with Evan and Mallory every time they came together as one I was feeling all sorts of naughty! I wanted to lick him like an ice cream cone….YUMMY

So I am reading along minding my own business and devouring this book and I am getting pretty close to the end and getting very sad that it is about to end and I realize there is so much more that I want to know about Evan, Mallory, Sunny, and Noah! I don’t want their story to end so what do I do?

I run to my computer and send S.L. Scott a message asking her about this and she informs me that this is Book 1 in a 3 book series and book 2 will be out in September because not only do I want more Evan, Mallory, Sunny, and Noah I NEED more Evan, Mallory, Sunny, and Noah! So as you can image (because I get excited about stuff like this) she left me feeling…

So I leave you with this! Would I recommend this book? HELL TO THE YES! I can’t believe I have not read any books by S.L. Scott until now – so while I wait for more of my loves in Hawaii – I am defiantly going to check out all her other work! Wonderful wonderful novel S.L. Scott! I cannot wait for September to get here!
