#BookReview – Havoc (Deathstalkers MC) by Alexis Noelle

Havoc ebook-2
As a social worker, I’ve seen my fair share of broken families, bad relationships, and worlds of regret.
Because of that the last thing, I’ll ever do is let down my guard, or open up my heart.
As for men, bring ’em on.
I love a good man in my bed, but I’m not looking for forever or happily ever after.
That’s not my style.
Please me, and leave.
These are my rules.
There’s no bending or breaking them.
Even when he pulls out all the stops,
I’m not budging.
They’re set in stone.
Or should I say, “Rock?”

I’m chiseling away at that hard exterior, one pebble at a time.
I don’t negotiate, I don’t share, and
I sure as hell don’t wait my turn.
Despite her smart mouth and fiery ways,
I still want her.
But this “friends with benefits” deal of hers is bullshit.
I don’t play that way.
At least, I don’t plan to anymore.
I will own every ounce of her.
That body.
That mind.
That heart.
It will all be mine.
4 star review-2
Chrissy is a social worker who has seen it all. She protects children when their home life isn’t safe. She takes her job serious and can’t let her guard down for one minute. Its could be life or death when a child is in a dangerous situations at a place that suppose to be a safe place. But with men it is a different story. She doesn’t want to do relationships or any of that. A night in her bed is just what she is looking for nothing more. But Rock is amazing in bed but he is pushing for more. He wants to “claim her” and she is not having it.

Rock wants Chrissy and he isn’t giving up that easily. He plans on claiming her and he isn’t going to negotiate the terms. She will give in and give away to her fears because he is tired of this “friends with benefits” thing that she wants. I will gain her heart and then she will be mine.

I loved this book and this series. I love Alexis Noelle’s books. She writes outrageous biker stories with guts, glory, love, heart break and everything in between. I loved this give and take between Chrissy and Rock. I loved how much Rock is in love with Chrissy and it has him do things a tad out of character for a biker. But I love seeing the soft spot they have for their women. I loved everything about this book but the ending if you can call it an ending. There are alot of loose ends and I felt it was rushed at the end. But that means  another book in the series.
