Book Review – Two to Tango by Mimi Strong

Skye Evans is a former stripper, trying to live a “good” life teaching dance to kids. She also hates rich people. Really hates them.

Charlie Ward is rich. He’s twenty-nine, and caught between partying and growing up enough to have a relationship with someone besides his best friend.

When Charlie finds Skye crashing a party at the exclusive country club he owns, he’s captivated by her long, beautiful dancer’s legs. He takes her on a private tour of the pool, where they discover perfect chemistry.

Unfortunately for these two lonely lovers, Skye still hates rich people, and Charlie’s still rich.

Charlie and Skye fit together so well when they’re naked, but they must find creative ways to get over their differences and let themselves love.

5 Star Review

I was given an ARC of Two To Tango by Mimi Strong to review for Swoon Worthy Books. I first fell in love with Mimi’s writing when I read The Peaches Monroe series, now I am a fan of Ms. Mimi and I was not let down with her writing when I read Two To Tango. As soon as I started this book I could not put it down.

Skye Evans is a very strong willed young woman. She has done whatever it takes in order to survive, including stripping. But now she has turned her life around or attempting to when she becomes a dance teacher at a local community center. She has to deal with rich parents who bring their kids there to dance, but the thing is Skye hates rich people. She has had heartache from rich people before and she has vowed to not be associated with them. But she proceeds to try to get help from one when her job is on the line. The only thing is she meets the really cute maintenance man who actually turns out not to be a maintenance man at all.

Charlie Ward sexy and loyal, but has spent his life trying to fix everyone else’s problems. The bad thing is he is now trying to keep his father from cheating again and possibly losing their country club. The only thing he knows is he saw his father in the steam room and the lady he was with wore a red dress. So at the clubs’ open house, Charlie sees a beautiful young lady in a red dress and automatically thinks this is the woman. He never bargained to meet Sky and their chemistry be smokin’ hot! Charlie can’t get enough of her, but she keeps running away from him and Charlie is dead set on finding a way to make her his.

I fell in love with Skye and Charlie’s story. Mimi brings together an unlikely pair that happens to have almost nothing in common, but is a perfect fit together. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for everyone next.
