Book Review: The Vigilante’s Lover (The Vigilante’s #1) by Annie Winters

Spies, vengeance, and one seriously well-dressed man
“If Bourne dressed like Bond and acted like Grey, you’d have Jax De Luca.”
An addictive new romantic suspense series from the desk of USA Today bestselling author Deanna Roy/JJ Knight
Mia trembles as she reads the letter that arrives from Ridley Prison.
Seduction. Bondage ropes. Descriptions of things Mia has never experienced or known.
The man’s words are desperately passionate. He longs for a woman who must have given him a fake address. Mia’s address.
She plans to send the letter back. He’s a convicted felon.
But his words gnaw at her. She’s never done anything dangerous. And no man has ever talked to her like this.
So Mia writes him, pretending to be the woman he desires.
It’s her one dark thrill in her dull, solitary small-town life.
The man is in prison for another fifteen years.
It’s harmless. She is safe enough.
Until he escapes.

Stephannie's 4.5 Star ReviewMia receives “kinky” letters from an prisioner at Ridley Prison. The prisioner must have gotten the wrong address but it didn’t stop Mia from writing him back pretending to be the women this man desires. It thrills her to write him and feels safe because he is sentenced to fifteen years in prison.

Until he escapes and shows up at her aunt’s home.
This is a different story that is full of suspense and a tad of imagination to believe this tale of spies, vengeance and one hot man. “If Bourne dressed like Bond and acted like Grey, you’d have Jax De Luca.”  Jax De Luca is a hot wet dream that you want to repeat over and over again. I love him! Mia is a cute, innocent girl who has never really experienced anything exciting and took the leap when she wrote back being “kinky” herself. She opened herself to an new and exciting experience. Will she regret writing Jax? What does Jax have to say when he finds out who he really has been writing? Your in a world of twists and turns with this series. I’m enjoying this one!
