Synopsis

Anna Rossi lives by one simple rule: don’t get attached, don’t get hurt. But Alec Flynn doesn’t play by the rules…

Anna never takes on a massage client without screening him first, but the paycheck offered by billionaire Maxim Stein is too good to turn down. Stein is the richest man she’s ever laid her hands on, and despite the risks, she trusts that she can take care of herself. After all, she’s handled difficult clients in the past. What she isn’t prepared for is getting caught in a compromising situation by Maxim’s tall, dark, and gorgeous bodyguard—or the desperate desires he awakens in her…

Alec is dangerous. The mysterious, hard-bodied man is completely irresistible and won’t be refused, no matter what walls Anna puts up to protect herself. But as Anna falls fast for his careful ministrations and mind-blowing skills, she begins to realize that giving herself over to a man with so many secrets isn’t just putting her heart at risk—it’s endangering her life…

4-Stars

This is my very first Sierra Kincade read and I loved it.  The Masseuse was edgy, fun, flirty and sometimes dangerous.  The characters were flawless and sexy.  I wasn’t sure at first about how Sierra could create a full length novel about a Masseuse but boy did she.

Anna Rossi is sexy, fun and flirty.  Sometimes a bit curious which not only can get her in trouble but can get her in pleasurable situations that she may not want to get herself out of.  Working hard her entire life she sets out to be independent and focuses on her future.  She is loyal to those that she holds dear and doesn’t give too much of herself away.  She doesn’t have any interest in creating a lasting relationship with the opposite sex.  But one look at him and everything changed.

Alec is dangerously sexy.  Every bone in his body screams sex and danger and there is something about him that draws Anna to him.  His past is simply that, it stays in the past.  He is closed off at times and doesn’t give too much of himself away.  Simply put he is hiding something.  He is dark and mysterious with a rugged edge that will make your panties melt.  Even with all that danger lies a bit of a sweet spot, you don’t see if much but it’s there.  He is drawn to Anna and what starts off as a simple case of lust quickly turns into something more powerful than Alec ever saw coming, something that scares him, something that will cause not only his life but Anna’s life to turn upside down.

Secrets, lies, betrayal and deception are everywhere in The Masseuse, I think that is why I loved it so much.  You didn’t want to put it down until you figured out what was going on and what the hell was going to happen next.  It was like riding a rollercoaster slowly moving up the tall track knowing that at any minute you will plummet down into the unknown.  The Masseuse is a crazy brilliant ride that I would buy a ticket to ride again.  It has passion, angst, mystery, and danger everything you need to keep your toes curled in anticipation of what will come next.  Sierra took a simple job title and turned it into a whirlwind romance with a huge case of what the fuck just happened.

Alec has so many secrets and a dark past that is to not be messed with.  Is there really a future with Anna or is there more to Alec and her meeting than she cares to know.  Did fate really bring them together or did someone else have a hand in that?  Can Anna shut down her curiosity of Alec’s secret life or will the saying “curiosity killed the cat” be a saying that Anna will meet very soon?

Grab your copy of The Masseuse today, I promise you it will hold your attention even after the last page.  There was nothing about The Masseuse that I didn’t love and I cannot wait until Sierra puts out book 2 in The Body Works Trilogy.
