5StarReview

Ryan Quinn is in a new town with a new look and hoping for a new beginning. She is starting her junior year of high school and is running from her past. She is trying to change and be a new person but if anyone finds out about her past, she’ll never get the fresh start. She joins the ultra-conservative Purity Club. But when a few of the Purity Club girls discover the truth, they viciously attack Ryan.

Justin is her knight. But he makes it hard for Ryan to stick to her vow to change. She should avoid him at all costs. But it is torture when she is away from him.

Ryan is dealing with the outward scars from the attack and the inward shame of her past; while Justin’s home life continues to spiral out of control.
Can Ryan move forward from her past and the attack to give Justin a real chance? Can Justin realize he isn’t a burden to Ryan and fight for her love?

This is the second book in this series. But it is a standalone because I don’t think you have to read that book to read this one. I loved this book it was full of sensitive subject that make the characters more real. I couldn’t believe the attack on Ryan and those purity girls excuse for why they attacked her. I am glad Justin was there. The book is focused on Justin and Ryan and what they are both dealing with at the time. Ryan connects with Justin when he is her knight but Justin life is a mess. So they are both dealing with a lot.

Its a great book with a lot of important topics. I have a teenager and I will be recommending she reads this one and tells her friends. Its a great YA book.
