“In all honesty, in order to understand my happiness than you need to know my sadness.”
Ysabelle Telle was born in Tampa Florida and grew up in the ghetto, she was dealt a shitty childhood one no child should have to endure. Ysabelle had a mother (if you want to call her one) who only cared about herself and when she would get her next fix. She was a whore she had her “Johns” who gave her money in return for sexual favors, or her mother’s preferred choice drugs. What little money she received hardly ever went to her daughter. Ysabelle was a poor, lonely, scared, malnourished little girl, a child should never feel any of these things. She had no one to love or take care of her, the only person she could rely on was herself. At the age of sixteen she packed her backpack with little clothes she had and $100.00 to her name, hopped in a guy’s truck headed for Miami. The same guy who gave her money in return for sex, it’s a wonder why she became what she was today a VIP (Very Important Pussy).
“In my imagination, I pretended like she wasn’t my biological mother. That she had kidnapped me from a beautiful wealthy family, who were still out there looking for their long lost child. If it was true, they sure as shit never found me.”
Sebastian Vanwell was born to two parents who loved and wanted him, his mother was a nurse who quit and became a stay at home mom when he was born, his father a top rated cardiologist. He had a completely different childhood one filled with love, and security, a life every child dreams of. Sebastian had two best friends one he knew since she was born Julia, the other Olivia Julia’s adopted sister who came into there lives when Sebastian was 12. The three of them were inseparable all through there childhood into the teen years.
VIP is told in dual POV it starts off with Ysabelle telling you her story beginning with her childhood, you’ll find out what she went through with her mother, how she was treated by her and other children her own age. My heart literally broke for her, at the age of 12 she suffered a traumatic experience even through it she remained a strong little girl who moved forward with her sad life.
Ysabelle’s life I think for her began at 16 when she escaped her hell hole of a home and mother. You’ll be introduced to Devon who owned a bar where Ysabelle began working for him, the two developed a very special friendship. A few years later Ysabelle’s life will be turned upside down when she meets the very intriguing Madam, of VIP, so begins the journey of her life as a VIP, and her encounter with the very handsome and rich Sebastian Vanwell…… buckle up because it’s going to be a very bumpy ride.
“I wanted the control and with that I get power.”
Sebastian’s story will also began with his childhood a very different childhood than Ysabelle, follow his life and the lives of Julia and Olivia “The Three Musketeers”. Sebastian also suffers a traumatic loss in his life that will change him and have him harbor severe guilt over what happened. He will come to realize the one person who has always been there in his life for him, has been Julia his “Babygirl”.
Will he always feel like this once they are married and have a child or will things change once he meets the beautiful sexy “Ysa”?
Sometimes in life you have to take a chance at love, Ysabelle has never had love in her life, never wanted to feel any emotions, that was until one man came into her life and changed it all….Sebastian.
My head knew he was married and belonged to someone else, my heart, my fucking heart, didn’t give a flying fuck. It jumped in full boar to accept in any shape, way, or form, I could get him.
VIP is a standalone book that has a little bit of everything, sex, drugs, booze, pleasure, whole lot of emotions followed by love. Once you start this journey with them you will not want to put it down.
I was glued from the very beginning right until the very end, wishing for their HEA the entire way through the book, and the epilogue was just how I imagined it to be.
Kudos to M. Robinson of her debut novel she wrote a beautiful story about two people who come from two different worlds. I absolutely loved this book!
“So let me guess, this is where you tell me you don’t kiss on the lips? No I love to kiss on the mouth Sebastian, especially if my come is on your lips.”
Ysabelle Telle didn’t have it easy growing up she always had to count on herself for a things she needed once she turned 16 and never looked back.
“Fake it until you make it ….. Right?” ~ Ysabelle
There are too many words that describe the effects when two diverse worlds like theirs collide. They both have too much to lose to get caught in the forceful pull, which could destroy them both.
Sebastian thought he had it all . He married the love of his life and has a child what could go wrong?
With that said welcome to the world of VIP …..
“I couldn’t help, and notice how the room had a certain ora about it. It felt as if I was about to make a deal with the devil” ~ Ysabelle
Sebastian feels drawn to Ysabelle he couldn’t keep her out of his mind he had to meet her know everything about her. Easier said then done he was married with a child. He wasn’t sure what to do, u till he was given a card, he just wanted to talk to her. Come to find out she’s a VIP unsure of what he was getting himself into he takes the plunge so to speak and try’s to figure out this pull she has on him.
Was he trying to save her or was he trying to recreate things he lost a long time ago. Read this story to find out what happens when two diffent worlds collide.
This was such a fantastic read. I loved the point of view from both characters. I felt like I truly knew what they both had to go through, although they both lived two different types of lives. I loved the way they each had there story and they way in intertwined was perfect I was cheering for Sebastian then wanting to smack him. Yes I wanted to throw my kindle but I couldn’t put the story down it’s not your normal love story, but I felt Ysabelle and Sebastian were meant to meet.but just because they’ve meet can they save each other or are they both two lost souls trying to survive life. This story makes you think and realize you can learn from your mistakes.
