Dustin Carmichael swore off women a long time ago, until his sister reconnected with her best friend from high school, Stacy.

When Stacy’s life turns to shambles, Dustin’s more than willing to be there for her. As she tries to get herself together, Stacy finds herself in another dilemma, she can no longer deny the feelings she’s always had for Dustin.
Will her failure to see that Dustin has changed stop them from having something everlasting?
Stacy Hutchins thought she found the guy she would spend the rest of her life with in Mark Jefferson. But he was a liar and a cheater that destroyed Stacy when she discovered the truth. Stacy ended the relationship but Mark wouldn’t let her go without a fight and his desire to get her back became a very unhealthy obsession.
Dustin Carmichael was Stacy’s best friends brother who last summer when they had a few rounds in the bedroom had Stacy drawing a line in the sand said that they were better as friends. Stacy didnt want to get due to his history of having lots of sex with different girls and felt it was better to end what Dustin and her had now. But Dustin longed for more than a friendship and so when she came to him after Mark he wasnt going to let this chance go bye without showing her his love for her.
I really liked the story and the twists and turns. I really liked Dustin and felt his connection to Stacy throughout the book. This is a great story of having a second chance at love and taking it. The main issue is Mark who wont give up the fact that they u are over. Stacy should of sung Taylor Swifts hit ” We are never getting back together” then maybe he would of moved on himself. It was a good book that I enjoyed reading.
In Starting Over were introduced to Stacy, Mark, and Dustin. In an incredible follow up, we see another great story of finding love in the not so obvious places and what can happen when love becomes more of an obsession then an actual feeling. Stacy and Dustin have had a difficult path to each other. They reconnected during a family tragedy, but Stacy was a little afraid of Dustin’s reputation, and thought they’d be better off as friends, Dustin knew he wanted more but wasn’t sure how to say it. As time goes on their feeling were harder to deny, and in the midst of a new dilemma they are able to find out just what exactly they mean to each other. I found this book to be well written, the plot flowed smoothly and the characters were believable. Another great 4 star read by Evan Grace.
