Angela5 Star Review

“Reckoning-retribution for one’s actions (phrase: day of reckoning). “

Hannah Davis is an only child, her dad Elliot Davis is a renowned psychologist in San Diego. Hannah is a junior at the University of California majoring in psychology not by choice, her choice would have been music. Not wanting to disappoint her father she chose to follow in his footsteps.

Jason Malone is tall, dark, handsome, the type of guy girl’s “swoon” over. “His body is definitely some nice eye candy.” He’s also a student at the same University Hannah attends.

“Those honey-brown eyes of his see straight into my soul.”

Jason and Hannah have been best friends since the eighth grade, both unaware of there feelings for another….they are secretly in love with each another. Friendship is all they can settle for…fearing if they get together it could destroy there friendship.

One Friday night Jason and Hannah decide to go out with there best friends…Abby and Xavier. Everyone’s having a good time drinking, dancing, this is also the same night when Jason decides to confess his true feelings to Hannah. Then in a blink of an eye something tragic occurs that will forever change the lives of four college students.

There was such a build up that every page I turned I kept wondering to myself what and when would it happen…..BOOM just like that it did.

“I can’t go a day without talking to you, let alone seeing you. Everything you do intoxicates me and I am tired of trying to hide my feelings! I don’t want to look back and realize I didn’t even try to let the one person I love, know just how much I wanted them.”

Can Jason overcome the guilt he feels for leaving Hannah alone that dreadful night?

How will what occurred affect the lives of Jason, Hannah, Abby, Xavier?

Will Jason and Hannah finally be together and have the happiness they both deserve?

Moments of Reckoning is told in dual POV’s…..the story alternates between Jason and Hannah. It helps you get a better understanding of there feelings and thoughts throughout the book.

I was hooked from beginning to end, it has love, heartbreak, suspense and friendship.

Savannah Stewart’s writing was amazing she keeps you guessing throughout the entire book. Kudos to her and I look forward to reading her next book.

“You were… the only light…in such a dark…world that I’ve…lived in….Hannah.”
