Lexi has finally given up her once destructive relationships and moved onto bigger and better things with a sexy new man in town. Just when she is starting to figure it out with him, her world is tilted once again with a phone call from none other than Ramsey Bridges. A year after his entrance into her life, Ramsey is trying to make amends and does the one thing she never expects—invites her to Jack’s wedding.
The wedding she had evaded at all costs. But no matter what she does, Lexi can’t seem to escape her past with Jack. But does she really want to?
Despite the explosive chemistry between Lexi and Ramsey, she is skeptical about trusting him after everything that has happened. When things are amiss with him, she starts questioning his motives. Can Ramsey be the one to remove Jack from Lexi’s life permanently or should she move on with her blossoming new life?
*****5 STAR READ*****
Even though I have read this book on Saturday, it took me a couple of days to be able to express the amazingness in words. I LOVE LOVE LOVED this book. I love the strong Lexi, who is going after what she wants. Who is destined to make her life happy. She really shined in this book. I was so proud of the woman she is turning out to be. She started to turn her life around once she left that airport in Georgia. I was so happy she had this Mystery Man and was giving a guy a chance. Even though it was not Ramsey I was still going with it. Then to learn of the relationship she had with Ramsey over the year was so exciting, but to learn about all the ups and downs were hard to take when you are so Team Ramsey. I knew in my heart I wanted her to end up with him. You do learn how everyone is not perfect even though in this situation you learn he was making mistakes trying to make Lexi happy. Then he came out and that was it for me. I had to stop reading around the 47% mark cause I was so squirmy, I couldn’t sit still and was dreading this was not going to work out the way I anticipated it would work out. K.A. Linde definitely kept me on my toes. I was very impressed how even though I was terrified reading this book cause the way she was stringing us along and am so glad I kept my self focused and just pushed past the squirmy parts and kept on reading. I give this book 5 STARS, I am absolutely in love with this book. I am praying for a 3rd book but not sure I can emotionally handle these characters going through even more crap. Also Chyna, Lexi’s best friend found herself in difficult situations and great situations boy did she grow as a person I was so proud of her. I recommend this series to everyone who likes to get their hearts ripped out and put back it to place perfectly. This is a great book!!!!!!! On my SWORTHY Must Read List!!!!!!!!!!!
What was everybody’s opinion on this book?
