Laura’s Wish I could give more than 5 stars Review

A Love Like This, is the final installment in the Remembrance Trilogy by Kahlen Aymes.  The Mad, Mad Love story of Ryan and Julia. If I could give this book, better yet, the entire trilogy more than 5 stars, I would!  What an amazing set of books for first time Author Kahlen Aymes.  She truly writes like a seasoned author.  She blew me away.  Ryan Matthews has officially made it into my list of Top 10 BBF’s!

A Love Like This follows Ryan and Julia as newlyweds, as they begin their life together in New York.  Julia is settling into her high profile job at Vogue and Ryan has begun his residency.  Not being able to spend much time together because of their demanding schedules, they make the most of what precious time they have.  Until a traumatic event at the hospital leaves Ryan injured, but not as badly as a co-worker.  Left feeling like he owes his life to her, he lets her into his life and his life with Julia.  Thus creating a strain on his and Julia’s relationship.  Not seeing the hurt and frustration that this is causing to his marriage, Julia takes matters into her own hands and leaves. Hoping to get Ryan to see that he needs to spend more time with her.

Kahlen Aymes shows you what true, deep devotion and love between two people is really like. Following them through the ups and down, trails and tribulations, the all encompassing love that two people can have for one another.  And the steps they take to overcome the hardships in their young marriage.  She writes in such a way that you cannot put the book down.  You are left feeling all the same emotions that her characters are dealing with.  So much angst, devotion, love, sadness and above all the Mad, Mad Love!

Love does truly conquer all!!!  The Remembrance Trilogy is a Must Read! Move it to the top of your TBR list, you will not be disappointed.  I look forward to reading more from Kahlen Aymes.  One of my all time favorite reads.  I will be remembering Ryan and Julia for a very long time.
